MEET
THE
OWNER
Hank Cedar, founder of Cedar Marketing
Concepts (CMC), has had an eclectic career. As a teenager, he left his
home in Brooklyn for a summer job on a dairy farm in upstate New York. The
next summer, he worked as a vendor for Harry M. Stevens at Ebbets Field,
home of the late, lamented Brooklyn Dodgers.
After graduating from SUNY in Farmingdale,
Hank went into the Life Insurance field, where he was a top ten agent
for three years. At age 29, he was promoted to a general agent in the
company. Under his leadership, his agency. the Henry Cedar Agency, Inc.,
increased fivefold within the next five years.
In the early seventies, Hank and his family
moved from Brooklyn to Warwick, NY, and shortly thereafter, he took a career
agent position with New England Life. In 1975, he completed his studies for
his Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation. Later, he attained
advanced certification in estate planning and pension planning.
Hank qualified for membership in the Million
Dollar Roundtable (MDRT) in
1979, a distinction for which less that two
percent of insurance agents
nationwide qualify.
Always looking for a new challenge, Hank
owned and operated a restaurant in the early eighties, then ventured into
advertising.
While serving as the sales manager for Senior
Living News, Hank expanded the paper from its original 16-page layout to
32 pages. He then became a membership recruiter for the Pocono
Mountain Chamber of Commerce, where he produced unique advertisements for
chamber members.
With a varied and interesting career, Hank
has his ear tuned to the needs of the small business owner. His background in
financial services, when combined with his experience in advertising
and marketing, makes Hank fully appreciate your needs.
Hank formed the CMC network to give you the
help you need to
GROW YOUR BUSINESS !!!
